About Dr. Dina (Iskander) Morar

Dr. Dina Morar received her undergraduate degree in 2005 from the University of South Florida. She became a Doctor of Optometry in 2009 after graduating from Nova Southeastern University. This was followed by a residency in Vision Rehabilitation/Primary Care at SUNY College of Optometry in which she received advanced clinical training in diagnosis, treatment and vision rehabilitation of patients with acquired brain injury.
In addition to her private practice work, Dr. Morar has participated in externships at Tianjin Eye Hospital in Tianjin, China, working on specialties including pediatrics, binocular vision, retina, cornea, and glaucoma. Currently she is providing general eye care including but not limited to general eye exam, treatment and management of dry eyes, glaucoma, as well as other ocular diseases/conditions. She also has a special interest in contact lenses.

Dr. Morar is great. Very knowledgeable and detail oriented. She listened to all of my concerns and addressed them all. She explained all her examination findings with me and I left feeling very comfortable with the care I received. I had taken my husband to her for a visit months ago and after feeling impressed with his visit I decided I would make an appointment for myself when my schedule allowed.

The doctor was friendly and quick. She performed all my eye tests and answered my questions. She was a little too brief for my taste and did not ask anything regarding my eye history I had to mention things I thought she needed to know otherwise she wouldn’t have asked specifics things about my eye health. Overall for speediness and straight to the point exam I would go back.
