Dr. Azumah earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and her Master of Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She received a dual Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology and African American Studies from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Dr. Azumah is also the visionary behind many global afterschool and community health initiatives, including FlowTech4Girls, Understanding and Embracing Your Menses, Period Parties, FlowJustice, EcoMenstrualFlow, and International Exchange of Ideas. She further supports family wellness through Putting Parents First, Loving Your Menopause, and The Serene Birth, a holistic childbirth education program. Her leadership and innovation have earned her multiple honors, including most recently, the Merit Award for Community AI Innovation (2025) — for pioneering programs that teach youth globally about Artificial Intelligence in Public Health Despite her many professional roles, Dr. Azumah’s mission remains steadfast: to empower and inspire individuals—especially the youth and women—to flourish unapologetically and live with purpose, confidence, and compassion.
