Her desire to help patients achieve their best vision motivated her to pursue further education. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Ohio State University College of Optometry and has been practicing optometry for 22 years. Dr. Hardin joined Shawnee Optical in 2022, focusing on comprehensive eye care, eye disease, and contact lenses. She and her husband, Derek, reside in Carlisle. When not in the office, she enjoys traveling and volunteering in her community.

Dr. Hardin was so amazing! She gave me so much insight into my eye health that I had never experienced in my 37 years. She presented pictures and gave clear, understandable information about what was being viewed and what that means for my current and future health. Sincerely, such a wonderful experience!

Dr. Harden is one of the best eye doctors I've ever had. She genuinely takes time with her patients and really listens to our concerns. Her office staff or some of the kindest people I've ever met. They genuinely love their job and are always happy to see you. I really wish that other doctor's offices were like this because it actually's an enjoyable experience. Who would have thought that I would ever be excited to go to the eye doctor lol

Wow, I really loved going to Shawnee optical. The doctor and the entire staff were very welcoming and very helpful. Dr. Hardin explained everything to me and was incredibly knowledgeable and caring. They were very sweet helping me pick out frames. I was very impressed and will continue to go to there for all my eye needs. I will highly recommend them too!! Thank you!
