Dr. Rottgers grew up in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences in 2003. She graduated from University of Houston College of Optometry in 2007. During her time in optometry school, she worked as a technician for a local private practice and volunteered on a humanitarian mission in Honduras. After graduating, she moved to Pittsburgh, PA where she worked in both corporate and private practices. Eventually her husband’s job moved them back to the south and has been living in St. Petersburg since 2016. In her time away from the office, Dr. Rottgers enjoys spending time with her two kids and husband. She likes traveling, cooking, and working out.
