About Dr. Elizabeth Somers

Dr. Ellie Somers grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2016. She earned her Doctor of Optometry at Illinois College of Optometry in 2020. She also received additional training at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center, Froedtert, the Medical College of Wisconsin, and Jorgenson Schulz and Associates Eyecare Center. Since starting her career as an optometrist, she has practiced in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Arizona. She serves as a board member for the Southern Arizona Optometric Society. In her free time, Dr. Somers enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her husband and Great Dane.
