Emerald Lovely, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified Obstetrician & Gynecologist (OB/GYN) at Lovely OBGYN, a premier obstetrics and gynecology practice in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Dr. Lovely provides comprehensive women’s health services, including patient-centered, personalized care that meets the unique needs of teenagers and women across their lifespan. She has more than a decade of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. Education and learning have always been important to Dr. Lovely. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology with cum laude honors at Tuskegee University in Alabama. She then worked as a microbiologist for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration before pursuing medicine. Dr. Lovely earned her Doctor of Medicine at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. She completed her post-graduate training and Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and Grady Memorial Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, where she treated a wide range of complex disease states. Now focused on her own practice, Lovely OBGYN, Dr. Lovely and her skilled staff see patients aged 13 and older in Lawrenceville, Georgia, including residents of Snellville, Buford, Grayson, Lilburn, Suwanee, Duluth, Dacula, Loganville, Norcross, and Stone Mountain.

Highly disorganized staff! I've had 2 visits and have never even met Dr. Lovely. The people were nice, and the office was clean; that's all they had going for them. I was not confident in their competence based on miscommunication and the poor organizational skills that they displayed. I asked questions, and they poorly answered or explained. The team failed to communicate with me, and apparently, each other on numerous occasions. Lovely OB was not for me.

Beautiful experience. The energy that radiates is beautiful. Everyone was positive, nice and respectful. It was a feeling of warmth, and welcome. I live 50 mins away and I’ll continue to make this drive that’s how amazing the experience was.

My visit was great. I didn’t wait as long the staff was friendly and Dr Lovely was amazing. She was very welcoming, and informative of the process, and made my first pap smear experience a breeze. It was quick, and I didn’t have to wait as long!

It was a blessing in disguise. Most providers weren't accepting new patients when I started looking for appointments. I found DR. Lovely on Zocdoc and immediately booked the earliest appointment. I was going through a medical issue for more than 2 months before seeing her and was prescribed medications that did not help my problem. As soon as I saw Dr. Lovely, she knew what was going on and she prescribed a medication, as well as other recommendations. I felt relieved right away and thanked God for letting me find Dr. Lovely. She was patient, and knowledgeable, listened to my issues, and gave me some recommendations. Additionally, the office was clean and the staff was very friendly. Would 100% recommend her!
