About Dr. Emma Scott
Emma Scott, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry, graduating summa cum laude. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, with a concentration in Microbiology, magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Scott is a member of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians (TAOP). She specializes in primary eye care and the treatment of ocular diseases. She’s an instructor for KMK Educational Services, where she teaches ocular disease and pharmacology to optometry students preparing for their Boards. When she’s not treating patients, Dr. Scott enjoys spending time with her husband, their daughter, and identical twin boys. She also stays active with boating, traveling, reading, and judging BBQ contests.

The staff and Doctor Emma were all very friendly, made me feel comfortable, and showed concern for the issue I was having. Doctor Emma gave me a good exam, diagnosed my problem and provided samples for eye wipes and a prescription. Great visit!!

The whole team was very professional & efficient & respectful. The only thing that could have been better was a place to sit down while we waited till lunch was over. All the spaces were already taken so we had to stand outside the door for about 10 minutes.

The doctor allowed me to be at ease. She was friendly and communicative. The staff were also very friendly and communicated patience during the selection of glass frames. Also, I received my glasses within the following week.
