About Dr. Evan Dackowski

Dr. Dackowski is passionate about helping patients improve their vision and quality of life through personalized care and state-of the-art surgical techniques. Dr. Dackowski earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at Loyola University Medical Center in the Chicago area, where he received the Loyola Ophthalmic Knowledge Assessment Program (OKAP) Achievement Award. Outside of medicine, Dr. Dackowski enjoys golf, skiing, hiking, running, traveling, and exploring new coffee shops. Following residency, Dr. Dackowski completed an advanced, high-volume fellowship in cataract, refractive, and interventional glaucoma surgery at Berkeley Eye Center in Houston, Texas, under the mentorship of Dr. J. Morgan Micheletti. During fellowship, he gained extensive experience in advanced cataract surgery, premium lens technology, LASIK and PRK, laser procedures, and a broad range of minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Dackowski has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in leading ophthalmology journals and has participated as a sub-investigator in several clinical trials. His research interests include cataract surgery, refractive surgery, glaucoma, and emerging ophthalmic technologies. Outside of medicine, Dr. Dackowski enjoys golf, skiing, hiking, running, traveling, and exploring new coffee shops.
