“The doctor was soooo nice! This was my first time seeing this doctor. She explains everything from my exam. She complimented me as well on my attire. (smile). Once I started to choose my frames (she) the doctor came and helped me on how I looked in each frames. I never knew an eye doctor to come an assist in this way! I had a great experience and I will be back next year.

“The doctor was amazing, and her office was great. Her staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The only issue I had was that when it came to purchasing my glasses, I forgot my flex card. I asked receptionist to put a lower amount on my personal card and to allow me to call them when I get home to take care of the other amount with the flex card. She agreed and then put the majority on my personal card. She said it was an accident and I just left it the way it was. Once I got home, I asked the receptionist about my charges, and she said the right things but was deep breathing and acting irritated with me. H
Having said that, I really enjoyed the exam experience and would return for my next exam. However, I would most likely play it by ear if I would purchase glasses there. ”

About Dr. Evelyn Ayidu-Omo
Dr Evelyn Ayidu-Omo is a glaucoma Therapeutic Optometrist that has been in corporate practice in Arlington since 2003.
Dr. Omo, as she is referred to by her patients, graduated from the school of optometry at University of Benin in Nigeria where she practiced for six years before relocating to the United States. She earned her Doctor of Optometry with Honors from Inter American University of Puerto Rico, School of Optometry. While in school she was awarded an academic scholarship from Bausch and Lomb.
After her optometric education, Dr. Omo completed her clinical rotations on cataract/Refractive surgery at the Bird Eye Institute in Orlando, Florida, Veterans Affairs Hospital at Waco and Temple Texas, and Vision Source with Dr. Le in Houston, Texas. She is licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Dr. Ayidu-Omo is a member of both the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association. Before opening her private practice in Mansfield Texas, she practiced in corporate Optometry in Arlington Texas for the past 16 years.
Dr. Ayidu-Omo is married to Sunday Omorotionmwan and is blessed with three beautiful kids, two of which graduated from and one is still attending MISD.
In her spare time Dr. Omo enjoys reading, cooking, and is an active member of her Church where she serves as a worship leader.

Great appointment. They were thorough and the doctor was so kind and I didn’t feel rushed at all. I was nervous because I had to bring my baby to the appointment but they were accommodating and it all worked out.
