My experience with Dr. Fawzy Ibrahim at SoCal Foot Care was very concerning. I was asked to sign paperwork before being seen without any explanation of what procedures or equipment would cost. There was no transparency about pricing.
After the visit, I was told the bill, which ended up being shockingly expensive. At one point I was told I couldn’t leave without a medical boot because “if you have a fracture I can’t let you leave without a boot,” which felt very coercive and uncomfortable.
The entire experience felt more focused on billing and equipment than patient care. Healthcare should involve clear communication and informed consent before patients sign or agree to anything.
Because of how unethical this felt, I will be reporting the experience to the medical board and encourage others to do the same if they encounter similar practices. Patients deserve transparency and the ability to understand what they are agreeing to before being asked to sign paperwork.

It was great to get an appointment right away and find the doctor to be friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Highly recommend, even though as he gets more patients, appointments would be harder to obtain!

He understood my problem, which could be addressed with surgery, and recommended some things I could do to alleviate my foot pain. Very good visit and my foot pain was much less the next day.

I am so thankful I found this doctor! I was extremely worried, and he listened to all of my concerns and was very present. He did not make me feel rushed either! He answered all of my questions thoroughly and was extremely knowledgeable. I’m looking forward to returning!
