About Dr. Gabriela Miller

Gabriela Miller, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1988. She graduated at the top of her class and also earned her Bachelor of Science in Optical Science. She completed her undergraduate studies in chemistry and pre-optometry at Duke University. Dr. Miller's first awareness about optometry came as a patient. While in high school, she had a very good relationship with her optometrist and was encouraged to look further into optometry as a career. In college, she solidified her goal of becoming an optometrist. Ever since those days, she has felt she has the best job in the world. Dr. Miller has the privilege of helping people see better every day, and she believes it doesn't get any better than that. She is a people person, so interacting with a wide variety of people keeps her interested daily. She also does humanitarian work abroad, such as in Jamaica and Mexico. Dr. Miller loves being able to help people who have little or no access to eye care. She can improve their lives by providing the vision correction they need and checking the health of their eyes. Each time she returns home, she is very grateful for the modern medicine we can access here. In her free time away from the office, Dr. Miller keeps in shape by running and practicing yoga. She also spends her spare time traveling and playing with her granddaughter, who is a joy! • I speak Romanian, Hungarian, a little Spanish, and English. I love seeing the whole family, ages 3 and up. • We are always accepting new patients and, of course, do in-person appointments.
