I was there to get one vaccine and waited 45 minutes to get into a room. The doctor seemed careless and didn’t wash his hands or wear gloves.

horrible . the doctor would not answer the calls from pharmacy to renew prescription . so i called 10 times , with no answer or call back , set up a appointment on zoc doc , it was confirmed , because no one would answer the phone at office ,when i got to office i was turned away to walk-ins, then told to make another the following week . so now i am left to scramble for a different doctor just to renew prescription. i would NOT recommend and cant under how providers like this are on zoc doc

I normally see the PA I believe Robert but he was not in so I had no choice but to see this MD. He was over an hour late. He barely checked me and barely spoke to me. The girl in the front is awesome so friendly and acknowledged I was waiting for a long time. I will be back to see Robert but I will not be seeing this MD anytime soon.

I did all necessary online forms and when I got to Dr office not only did they not know I had an appointment BUT THERE WERE NO DOCTORS IN THE OFFICE AT ALL THAT DAY.. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME

Doctor was sloppy, stain on his shirt, not well put together professionally. We had to ask the nurse to take height and weight. They suggested x ray for back pain and although results would be expected in a week or 2 doctor said “see you in a month” just not the care we’re looking for.

What an absolute burnt out, poor excuse for a Healthcare provider!!! I couldn't even tell you what this guy's face looked like or the color of his eyes. Walked in, sat down & rambled off, "what're you here for today"? and just proceeded to type for 15 minutes.
He never even said hello, introduced himself or looked in my eyes. I walked out looking for Alan Funt as I started to wonder if he had a drinking problem. He was disheveled, unshaven and sporting dirty trousers. He asked me to repeat the zip code to the pharmacy 5x!
No professionalism. No personalization. No compassion. He had all the warmth of 4 unanesthetized route canals.
If I ever do decide to go back I will only exclusively see Roberto the Nurse Practioner.

Dr Dicanio, in his other office, has been my primary care Dr for about 2 years now and I just switched to this lake Grove office due to insurance and what is accepted there. He is a fantastic Dr, and to say my case is complicated is an understatement. He is understanding, compassionate, will do anything and go the extra mile for you. If youre looking for a primary care Dr that is all of the above and you can get an appointment with ease, look no further! Thanks Dr. D for helping me out!

I have been seeing Dr Gary Dicanio for 2 years and am writing my honest review, as I noticed some negative ones recently and I can't figure out why! Dr. Dicanio is efficient, empathetic and willing to work with you and help you in any way he can, with medication, referrals, treatment, and he is one of the best primary care physician I have ever had. I Always get taken within 15 minutes of my appointment time (which is a fair grace period) and I have a VERY complex case, requiring frequent changes in medications and such and he is very patient and willing to work with me despite my case not always being the easiest. If you need a good primary care physician who is friendly, intelligent and helpful he is your guy. 10/10.

Took over an hour to be seen mind you there was only 3 people in the waiting room before me and once I was seen there was no questions asked no through consultation was taken and we talked maybe 5 mins he didn’t weigh me or take my height nothing did blood work and said they would call about results instead they just texted me my results and expected me to read the readings as if I work in healthcare

The front desk person I spoke with had THE WORST PERSONALITY AND ATTITUDE for a person working at a medical office. My first appointment was changed for a work day for me, I accepted. The second was cancelled when I got there, by Ms attitude. Needles to say WON'T BE BACK!!!

He was very nice and willing to help me but they had a power surge as they were trying to send over my script which I really needed. I waited few hrs for system to come back up and never did. They wanted me to come back Thursday and it was Monday and kinda urgent. He wrote a letter for me to go up the block to CityMD which I really appreciated but even with that they were no help. So I had to get on insurance and split doses for few days it really stunk. But oh well at least I know I can go here for help in future

Wait time was too long .
November 13, 2018Hammad B.Verified patient
Wait time was over an hour after they rescheduled my appointment the day before.
Reception/nurses were cold and unwelcoming throughout the entire process.
Doctor was fine, but she sent my prescription to a CVS pharmacy that doesn't exist and with my first and last name backwards.
I called four times to get it fixed and received an attitude from the receptionist every time, claiming that the pharmacy MUST be there.
The issue remained unresolved.
Based off the professionalism of the staff and the wait time, I would not recommend this office.
