About Dr. Gene Wong

Dr. Wong was born and raised in Newport News, Virginia. He received his Bachelor of Science from James Madison University, Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M Corpus Christi, and Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry. He is an optometric glaucoma specialist and has been practicing optometry since 2010 in Fort Worth, Texas, and Brownsville, Texas. He completed his fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry in 2013 and currently serves on the National Communications Committee. Dr. Wong became board-certified as a Diplomate through the American Board of Optometry in 2015. He is proud to be part of a clinic that is at the forefront of the newest advancements in technology and services. “The best part of my job is helping a patient finally see clearly.
