About Dr. Gilbert R. Weiner
Dr. Gilbert Weiner is a board certified, trusted and reliable primary care doctor serving Fort Lauderdale community. Dr. Weiner attended the Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he received his medical degree, and completed his internship at Osteopathic General Hospital.
Dr. Weiner is a part of Reeder Medical Group. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Weiner himself was fine - he listened and ordered a full workup. His staff however, is horrendous, unprofessional and unhelpful. Dr. Weiner gave me a prescription to have test tests scheduled - the staff would not help me so I had to call around to medical centers to see who would take me. I received a call today from the center saying they had not received authorization from the doctor and were cancelling my appointment - a serious problem as I've waited a week and am in a great deal of pain. I did visit the office this week for blood work - again, the worst experience I've had in a medical facility. The woman who saw me didn't know what blood tests the doctor had ordered and instead asked me (I have no idea, I'm not a doctor). She struggled getting the needle into my arm, had no bedside manner, and was dismissive. My arm still hurts, and given the lack of cleanliness of the facility, I am terrified of infection. The patient clientele looked like a bunch of homeless people - very uncomfortable setting. The only reason this is not a 1 (or 0) star review is because the doctor himself is fine.
