About Dr. Gladdis Thomas
Dr. Gladdis Thomas completed her undergraduate studies at Ohio State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Microbiology. She then obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of the Incarnate Word's Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio. Since 2014, Dr. Thomas has been dedicated to practicing optometry and providing compassionate care to her patients. She is a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society, reflecting her lifelong commitment to leadership and community service, as well as the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. When not seeing patients, Dr. Thomas enjoys hiking, crafting, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband, toddler, and two Havanese pups.

The reason I wouldn’t recommend this office is because the receptionist said she wasn’t familiar with Zocdoc appt scheduling but mainly it’s because my prescription wasn’t called in like I was told it would be. Very unprofessional.

I had no idea where their office was & went when 46 was blocked off in the far rt. Lane also, A LOT of traffic from school buses! (Eye issues too!) Anyway, trying to find the Pizza Hut b/c the office is beside it & my phone was ringing too. Traffic made me nervous because my eyes were BAD! I found a friendly UPS Man who said, " oh yes, the office is right around that corner!" When I got there, the receptionist told me, she had called to say do NOT COME, because their computers "crashed!" One of the other sweet ladies had magically fixed them though, so look look she WAS HAPPY, I HAD COME IN!??
Everyone in the office was kind, warm and welcoming! In fact, I liked them SO MUCH, I scheduled my Mother-in-law to go for an appointment too.
They are ALL VERY PATIENT and make you feel at ease!

I just had my first visit with Dr Thomas' office and what a great experience. From the office staff to the intake tech to the Dr, everyone was so friendly and helpful. I didn't even have to be dilated because of their state of the art equipment. Highly recommend!

This was an amazing experience from start to finish! When I arrived I was greeted and helped by a kind and gracious receptionist along with other clinic staff. My appointment was on time!! The nurse/ technician who saw me before the Dr truly listened and took detailed notes for the Dr. I can honestly say that Dr. Thomas is the BEST Ophthalmologist I have ever been to. No only does she actively listen to you, she talks to you, educates you, and at no point speaks down to you. If I could give this clinic and its staff 10 stars I would!
