Came to Dr McClung for a second opinion and am so glad I did! Such a relief to hear a surgeon not rush to surgery when something may heal on its own with rest.

I was the last appointment of the day and had a pretty long wait, but that is the hazard of making a late appointment. Dr. McClung is a professional and sees many, many patients in a day, so he has seeneverything..literally. He does not need to spend a lot of time with his patients except the most complex of matters. Therefore he has assistants to do what he instructs them to do so that he can move on to the next patient. I am good with that. I expect a full and speedy recovery

Dr. McClung performed my son's labrum surgery so I was very familiar with him. I've recommended him to friends many times. Our family has been to several Beacon doctors over the years. We will not go anywhere else!

It was very quick and easy to make an appointment. Upon arrival I had to fill out the typical paperwork, but was seen right away. Both Dr. McClung and his assistant seemed knowledgeable about my injury and were willing to listen. In fact, everyone I delt with from the front desk staff to the x-ray technician were very pleasant. It was my very first visit, but so far I would definitely recommend this practice.

When I first came into the waiting room, I signed in and the receptionist was overwhelmed and seemed very stressed. She repeatedly told patients she was the only one there so have a seat and she would get to you shortly. She also called people "hun, dear" which I felt was inappropriate. Once in the back, the experience was great.
