Getting to know Dr. Gretchen Wilhelm

I am a licensed psychologist in Ohio and hold a PhD from the University of Toledo. I have been serving children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families for over 35 years in a variety of settings. I maintain a part-time outpatient therapy practice while helping to lead a mental health agency in Virginia, where I live. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, I hope to serve clients in Toledo and the surrounding area. While my practice is primarily via Telehealth, serving clients from Toledo allows me to occasionally conduct in-person sessions. I love helping clients develop a more compassionate understanding of themselves and others, heal through difficult circumstances, improve relationships, and achieve desired changes in their lives.
