About Dr. Hannah Long
Dr. Hannah Long is from Oxford, Michigan, and graduated from Oxford High School in 2016. She completed her undergraduate studies at Grand Valley State University and was then accepted into the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree.
During her final year of optometry school, she underwent clinical training at Normandy Optical, the Aleda E. Lutz Saginaw Veteran’s Association and Medical Center, the Michigan Eye Institute in Rochester, and Walton & Becker Eyecare in Oxford. There, she gained experience in primary care, contact lenses, pediatrics, low vision, and the treatment and management of ocular disease. She graduated with honors from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2024.
Dr. Long has returned to Normandy Optical to practice optometry in southeast Michigan. Her interests include primary care optometry, contact lenses, treatment and management of ocular disease, and dry eye therapies.
Dr. Long is an active member of the Michigan Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, and running.

Dr Hannah was so nice and explained everything that she was going to do before doing it. She answered all my questions and gave me even more information about my eyes which was really nice to understand what was being done. I really felt taken care of and would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Long is an amazing eye doctor. She was very thorough, and made sure to explain the eye tests clearly. When I was concerned with my current contact brand, she changed me to a brand that are much more comfortable.

Dr. Long provided an outstanding experience! Dr. Krause was incredibly thorough, kind, and patient, ensuring I felt comfortable throughout my visit, especially with my hearing loss. Dr. Long was just as attentive and professional. The front staff was warm and welcoming, creating a great first impression. The showroom had an impressive selection of eyewear, and the team guided me seamlessly from start to finish. One of the team members, Jessica - helped me pick out the cutest frames! I truly appreciate the excellent care and highly recommend this office!
