About Dr. Haris Khan

Haris Khan, DPM, is a board-qualified podiatrist serving patients at Advanced Foot and Ankle Specialists in Elgin, Elk Grove, Huntley, and the Montclair neighborhood of Chicago. Dr. Khan completed undergraduate training at the University of Illinois in Chicago and earned his degree in biology. In 2020, he graduated with his doctorate from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois. He then completed a three-year surgical residency at Ascension Saint Joseph in Chicago, Illinois. In his final year, Dr. Khan served as chief resident and won the leadership award for all residents at Ascension Saint Joseph. Dr. Khan completed a competitive residency that included working with and training under 100 staff attendings across 25 different facilities. Dr. Khan’s experience includes extensive training in foot and ankle trauma, total ankle replacement, complex reconstructive surgery, arthroscopy, sports medicine, flap reconstruction, peripheral nerve surgery, diabetic wound care, limb salvage, external fixation, and bunion surgery. Dr. Khan’s treatment philosophy stresses conservative management and evidence-based approach to surgical management. Dr. Khan believes in providing the most up-to-date care for patients with the latest advancement in diagnosing and treating foot and ankle disease. In his free time, Dr. Khan enjoys spending time with his family, watching/playing sports, and traveling.
