About Dr. Heather Gold
Dr. Gold was born and raised in New York City. She attended the University of Chicago where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences. She then completed two years of research at the National Institutes of Health, after which she completed her medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Gold completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwell Health Lenox Hill and her fellowship in Complex Family Planning at Emory University School of Medicine. During her fellowship, she also completed a master's degree in Public Health. She is very excited to be back serving the New York City community!

I am pretty sure I got somewhere with an ongoing painful medical issue. The references are yet to be determined whether they will help, but she doesn't have control over that.
The issue: When she re-entered the room for my exam, after I had derobed, she brought a second person in. Which is normally fine. But she just came in with her and was not introduced, either by Dr. Gold or the what I found out was the medical technician. I waited awhile for this introduction and it never happened. I had to ask. To which the response and vibe were not friendly or apologetic for the maybe- lack of professionalism and respect that should be warranted for such a procedure. You never know what a client has been through- especially a female client.
I was very nervous in the initial meeting and began to ramble. The clinician became not so subtly impatient. As I was leaving, from another room, gave a "southern farewell".

Incredibly kind staff and doc. Was just very dissapointed in the wait time (1.5 hours) I would def recommend the doctor if you don't have an issue with waiting.
