About Dr. Howard Crisp
Dr. Howard Crisp joined North Texas Allergy and Asthma Associates in 2014, after spending eight years as an officer and physician in the U.S. Air Force. Most recently, he was stationed at Andrews Air Force Base outside of Washington, DC, where he served as Director of Immunizations. Dr. Crisp completed his residency in Internal Medicine and subspecialty fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio. Dr. Crisp is a native of Virginia and holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Virginia and completed his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Dr. Crisp is happy to return to Texas and enjoys seeing both adult and pediatric patients for all their allergy, asthma, and immunology needs. In addition to working with patients, Dr. Crisp has published research in journals such as the Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology: In Practice, and Allergy and Asthma Proceedings.

Received very courteous and professional reception upon checking in for my appointment. This was my first visit to this office so I had a couple of pages of paperwork which I was expecting so I arrived about 15 mins early. Right after completing my paperwork I was escorted into the treatment room. Was met by a very nice young lady named Brenda who asked a few more questions regarding my health history. Then right after that was completed she went to tell Dr. Crisp I was ready and he came right in. Very prompt and very professional, I was very happy with Dr. Crisp and his knowledge of my needs. I highly recommend him if you are in need of an allergist.

Dr. Crisp is personable and friendly plus takes time to answer any questions. There was a slight delay this morning (about 15 minutes) but he was very apologetic and I was ok with it :) If you are looking for an allergist I definitely recommend him!

I had to wait a little while, but Iit was because I was 15 minutes late. They actually provided a snack while I waited! Dr. Crisp was extremely patient despite my MANY questions unlike some who make me feel rushed. He w was even kind enough to answer The additional?s I came up with during my check out. The front desk staff was nice and seemed like genuinely kind people.

I was thoroughly impressed by Dr. Crisp! My son has a chronic condition that has required visits with multiple health professionals and by far Dr. Crisp far exceeds any prior service we've ever received. Very friendly and thorough while taking the time to answer questions and give valuable input on my son's care. I don't typically take time to do reviews however, that's just how exceptional his service was today!

I was very impressed by the doctor and look forward to his continuing medical care. The office and staff, however, fall far below expectations. Four attempts to cancel and reschedule an appointment in advance via email and the answering service resulted in no response at all. Was only able to get results through Zocdoc online. When I did arrive for the appointment, I was asked for paperwork that had already been sent. Clueless.

I've seen Dr Crisp for an acute allergic reaction. His staff has been great. Dr Crisp listens to his patients and takes his time.
I'm a nurse and have a lot of interactions w/physicians in my job, He's awesome and someone I will absolutely recommend to my family and friends.

Super friendly staff! The computers were acting up, so it took a ltitle longer than it usually would, I imagine. Eventually the doc just came in and worked with me without the computer (which was a relief - I was worried they'd reschedule!). Very accommodating, smooth visit, and I left feeling very educated. Highly recommended!
