About Dr. Howard Menikoff
Howard Menikoff, M.D., is an allergist practicing for more than 20 years in New York City. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at Beth Israel Medical Center and pursued a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Menikoff received specialty training in Allergy and is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology as well as the New York Allergy Society. He is currently affiliated with Beth Israel Medical Center, among other major New York City medical centers. Dr. Menikoff is fluent in English and French.

Dr. Menikoff was very friendly, he directly addressed my son, the patient, which was nice, and then addressed me, and was a great listener, and very knowledgeable and shared past experiences to make my son and me at ease about the process for allergy testing. I would definitely recommend him. Overall our experience was great.

Howard was a phenomenally attentive doctor. He was flexible and fit me in too. I was able to come earlier and he was able to accommodate that. I booked day of too! I would highly recommend if you're looking for a personable and doctor who gives you undivided attention.
The office is not very tech savvy and only accepts cash, which I never carry, so just a heads up!
Would recommend him to anyone and definitely return if i need an allergist!

And also understanding when the health insurance situation wasn't too clear and i had to make a call to my insurance. I am not used to this chill approach in NY. I felt as if I was back in Europe with my family doctor.

I never write reviews but I have to because I had a fantastic experience with doctor Menikoff.
First of all he treated me like a patient, a person, not just like a number as it happens all the time. I did not feel in a rush, the doc answered all my questions and beyond. Best NYC doctor appointment I have ever had.

Doctor Howard Menikoff is fantastic. I showed up 15 minutes late to his appointment, and he was completely ok with me. He spent a lot of time asking me about my health, what was happening to me, and what medicines I was taking; he explained all the procedures for my allergy medications. This was my first time using my insurance. So he also explained how insurances work. Overall, you can't find a doctor as lovely as Doctor Howard. He is the best.
