Been going to Dr. Steer since 2013. He's professional and kind; he gets things done pretty quick but isn't averse to chatting for a few minutes about random things. I'll continue to visit until my circumstances change.
It's was good. Good service
Dr. Steer and his staff were great. I was unfamiliar with the location. New patients need to be aware that there is major construction going on in and around the mall. His office is in the mall next to LensCrafter.
I had a experience with Dr. Steer for my little son which is 7 years old, Dr.Steer is professional and I was satisfied by him but his front desk personnel manner was awful, I had a appointment at 3:30 and I was onetime but a front desk lady lingered us more than 1:30 hours!
He was extremely professional, honest, & very helpful!
I was late and they still saw me right away. He was went over all items with me and was very willing to answer questions.
There was a mixup with my appointment time (zocdoc had my time as noon, they had 1:30). The staff was flexible and fit me in at noon. Dr. Steer was very friendly, capable, quick, and easy to talk to. It was a great experience.
Once I found it (it's in Ballston Common, which I didn't realize until I got there), things went smoothly. The staff was nice and the doctor was knowledgeable and helpful. I'm looking forward to getting my new contacts!
very friendly, saw me right away and didn't leave me waiting between nurse and doctor. helped with all of my concerns, very happy with service!
If the treatment works I'll likely bump this up to 5 stars (too soon to tell), but the visit itself was great.
He was the consummate professional! I felt that he cared about my eye health as much as I did. As long as I am in the area, I will always go to him!
Staff was helpful. They answered all my questions, and had flexible cancellation policy. Doctor was friendly and straightforward. Uneventful visit. No problems with bill...they called my insurance company to negotiate in-network deal, and they price-match on contacts.
Prompt, professional, friendly, and has all the latest equipment!
Fast and professional, I am so happy zocdoc helped me locate you, even took my insurance.. thank you
Dr. Steer is personable and answered all my questions. I felt he did not rush through things and he was very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
This was my first time to this office and it was easy and enjoyable! Everyone was helpful and polite. They explained every test and procedure and we're quick to answer questions. I would highly recommend!
Very pleasant always attentive to my concerns and had good advice. He moves very fast. Took less than 30 min for the eye exam.
Friendly and efficient, would love it if I was told lens crafters did not take my insurance before i was sent over however. Other than that was pretty pleased.
Very knowledgeable doctor and extremely quick! Maybe too quick though, it seemed a little rushed at times. Helpful front desk too.
Was treated by another doctor besides Hugh Steer, for the record. Everything was great, place was clean, service was prompt. Like another user, I also had to fill out forms in-person despite having filled out the information online via ZocDoc.
The start was wonderful and professional. I was in and out quickly and efficiently. I went on a Saturday which was great because it fit my schedule perfectly and I did not have to take time from work or anything else to do it. Dr. Steer was great, funny, and professional. He fit me for contacts and advised me in what to do/what type to get.
It was great; however i did have to fill out the forms twice, even though i had already filled them out online. Other than that, a great experience, with a very friendly staff!
It was excellent. He was very professional and prompt.
Quick and efficient. The tech was good and passed information to Dr. Steer so I didn't have to repeat myself. The office was electronic so everything was processed quickly. He gave me 3 different types of contacts to try out over the next week before choosing the brand I want to use. There is also a LensCrafters next door so that is convenient.
Really friendly eye doctor and thorough. Would recommend
Friendly and recommend the best option for my sight.
The staff was very friendly and the doctor was very nice and efficient. The best thing was this office is even open on weekends.
Very professional and had a nice office with nice staff. Convenient location inside of the mall right off the metro stop in Ballston. I was the first appointment so I cannot speak for the typical wait time but everything was done diligently and I felt well taken care of.
Great service and informative! Very nice office.
