About Dr. Ingrid Trenkle
Dr. Ingrid Trenkle has been a leader in laser technology, utilizing Fractional CO2, IPL, Hair Removal, Thermage, Erbium, Diode, CoolTouch, ND Yag, Velashape, Aluma, and penetrating ultrasound for pigment treatment. She was at the forefront of fillers, being one of the first dermatologists to use collagen, and has since become well known for her expertise with fillers and volumizers such as Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm, Radiesse, and Sculptra. In fact, she is a trainer for many of these fillers. Our office was also one of the first to utilize Botox, beginning in 1997. She is an expert in both cosmetic and therapeutic applications.
With over 30 years of experience as a dermatologist, Dr. Trenkle has become one of the most well-known and reputable dermatologists in Southern California. She developed her own line of skincare products, using only the finest ingredients from Europe in a unique blend targeted toward photoaging, pigmentation, and collagen/elastic tissue rebuilding. Her skin programs address acne, photoaging, skin cancer prevention, hyperpigmentation, sun protection, and hair loss.
Dr. Trenkle practices Dermatology and Dermatopathology in Redlands and Sun City, California. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Loma Linda University Medical School in 1973. She completed a rotating internship at USC Medical Center, followed by a year of mission service in Zambia, Africa, where she ran a leprosarium both in-house and through outreach by Range Rover. She then completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Loma Linda University, a Dermatology residency at the University of California, San Francisco—where she served as Chief Resident in her final year—and a Dermatopathology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University Medical School.

Came back here a second time since the first visit was easy and pleasant. All the ladies are super nice and helpful…then there’s Jon. He downplayed my pain and symptoms rejecting my want for medication, dismissing me multiple times. Then he told me to stop crying or accept the option he gave me! I was upset and stressed that wasn’t a way he should’ve handled it. I was uncomfortable from the start with him I should’ve left the moment he started being unprofessional. No patient should be scared to speak up against a practitioner.

Was seen by an older gentleman that refused to listen to my concerns. Didn’t introduce himself. He came in asked to see the incorrect body part, I corrected him on where the cyst was and was ignored. Told me not to worry about it about four times and walked out. The whole interaction lasted about 30 seconds. I looked up his diagnosis and it did not find any description or image of what I was experiencing. Very unprofessional. Waited for 30 minutes for a 30 sec visit that didn’t address any of my needs or concerns.

The ladies in the front office were very nice and accommodating. I knew my insurance would not cover the procedure because it was cosmetic.

The office is lovely, and the staff is even more lovely. The doctor was confident, knowledgeable, and provided clear instructions on the next steps.
I happened to faint during my appointment, and the staff was incredibly attentive and kind throughout the experience. The doctor also came to check on me personally. As strange as it sounds, it was truly the best possible fainting experience I could have had.
