About Dr. Iyana Whyte
Iyana Whyte, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Medical Center. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Albany Medical College and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. She is highly dedicated to providing a full spectrum of women's healthcare by treating women of all ages, from pre-teen to post-menopause, and offering routine examinations, treatment of gynecologic conditions, contraceptive counseling, onsite ultrasounds, and pregnancy care. Dr. Whyte has extensive experience in diagnosing and managing high-risk antepartum and intrapartum health issues. She holds an affiliation with NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital, where she performs deliveries. Dr. Whyte has published research assessing the efficacy of peak MCA velocities and amniocentesis before cardiocentesis in diagnosing fetal anemia. Currently, she is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association.

Doctor Whyte is incredible. She's very knowledgable and she is a great listener, I felt as my concerns were truly heard and addressed properly. The entire team is professional and i did not have to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen.

I had such a great experience at this office! From the front desk staff to the nurses and the doctor, everyone was so kind and welcoming. I was taken in right away and never felt rushed. I’m usually really nervous and uncomfortable for these kinds of appointments, but they made me feel completely at ease. The doctor was gentle, thorough, and easy to talk to. I honestly left feeling relieved and grateful, highly recommend this office!
