Dr. Diskin's passion for ophthalmology was realized at a young age, as he comes from a family with a strong tradition of accomplished ophthalmologists, including his father and uncle. A native of Michigan, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, and medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at the esteemed Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit, Michigan in 2023.
As the newest member of the Clavenna Vision Institute, Dr. Diskin brings his robust expertise in eye surgery as well as general comprehensive ophthalmology, along with his passion for providing high-quality eye care. His skills, dedication to service, and research prowess make him a vital addition to the team and the community we serve.

Dr Diskin is highly professional and caring ophthalmologist. I have hd two different eye related surgeries performd by Dr. Diskin. Both were very successful and he personally followed up afterwards to check on my status. My wife and are very pleased to have Dr. Diskin as our ophthalmologist.

Dr. Diskin is both professional and personable. He listens and explains clearly and simply what the problem and solution will be. He is a skilled surgeon and I had no issues with my recent eye surgery for cataracts. I like his easy going manner and I trust his judgement. I couldn't be more satisfied with him as my eye doctor.
