Friendly office, efficient with technology so no forms to fill out when arriving.
Saw the doctor after waiting 50 mins. She rushed me through the diagnosis and disappeared before checking to see if I have any questions. Won't be going back here again.
The doctor was extremely unprofessional--coughing throughout the entire visit and not explaining the medication she prescribed to me. Made me feel uncomfortable during he visit.
I felt all of my concerns were taken seriously, and the doctors actuallly listened. The wait was a little long because they were understaffed, but I didn't mind. I'm happy to always come back to this office
Doc was very nice and pleasant and caring. She took her time and ask questions and also listen when I had a question to ask.
I had someone else as my doctor who works at the practice. She was very nice and answered my questions.
Dr. Olivo is incredible. She was so kind, spent lots of time breaking things down so I could understand, and was super willing to listen and answer questions. I wish everyone could visit her!
Professional, pleasant and caring.
The wait time was so short, and the care was unbelievably efficient and informative. This was my first time here, but I'll definitely come here in the future.
The facility was very unorganized. It is super hard to get a receptionist to answer the phone. My lab results were never reported to me. I am a very easy stick when it comes to obtaining blood samples. I was stuck 3 times in one arm. I was told that we would do a PAP at my Physical Exam appointment that I scheduled. We started the PAP and got half way through and she told me, "Oh no, we cannot finish this today." How do you only do half of a PAP. Unprofessional. I will not be going back to this office.
Since mine was just a general checkup visit, I saw the nurse practitioner, Nicole Markovich, instead. She was very kind and friendly. The office was clean, spacious, and every one from the front desk throughout my visit was informative and thorough. They saw me right on time, no waiting. Will definitely be returning.
I love them!
Very pleased but was upset that they did not have immunizations. That was the reason for the visit, for my 2 month old to get immunizations. A phone call would have been good, rather than wasting gas to go at the appt.
I was very unsatisfied that I had to wait over an hour for my daughter to be seen. Although once my daughter was seen I was pleased. I felt that the doctor really payed alot of attention to make sure my daughter was in good health.
Thank you for being so kind during vaccines! And the Nurse Practioner was awesome! Thank you so much!
The first time I visited this office, I had a very unsatisfactory experience. The wait time was horrible, the staff was disorganized and I didn't even get to see the doctor at all. First, I saw a med student, and then a nurse practitioner. They said I could see the doctor but she didn't have time for me (during my appointment). I thought perhaps this bad experience was a fluke and the office would be better next time. The second visit, I waited just as long. The doctor assumed I spoke Spanish and didn't even say hello in English. Next, while unclothed and facing the door, the doctor opened the door and told a nurse she didn't have the right supplies. Fingers crossed people didn't see me completely flashing the entire hallway? Most insane of all, the doctor didn't have my very standard birth control in the office and told me I had to go to Walgreens to pick it up myself and then bring it back to the office for them to administer. So... basically, they wanted me to do their job for them. The first visit and also today, they had no idea if I had a copay or not. In the end, the doctor tried to make it up to me by giving me a free facial at their spa clinic. I'd rather this office be able to do their job instead of trying to make up for their lack of ability. I am switching doctors.
great service !! I love Dr. Olivo, she really knows how to treat her patients :)
I drove an hour and a half to get to Olivio's doctors office. And you know what, it was well worth it! I have Medicaid insurance and they took me right in as a new patient. There was no waiting list for me. Matter of fact, there was no waiting in the lobby to be seen and taken to the back! I really appreciate her office staff and the atmosphere. I would highly recommend anyone in or around Chicago to visit her doctor's office for any medical reason.
I met with Sally and Nicole and they were both very thorough and nice.
I enjoyed my visit...Thanks
Friendly staff and nice environment.
If you need a prescription refilled try waiting 2 weeks for blood work and then see the doc after that. I went to another doctor. I had even brought my empty prescription bottles for the doc to see. I waited a week, but decided to try a different doctor. I need my meds refilled.
Real professional and she understood what all my questions and she knew what she was talking about and told me exactly what was wrong with me she gets a 100+ from me thanks
The doctor and her staff were amazing. they were kind and made sure I was comfortable. I'm Usually not a fan of going to the doctor but I am a huge fan of doctor Olivo.
Nicole Markovich is the only health professional I've looked forward to seeing again. Usually I just bounce around different places according to location or my insurance but I'm very happy to have found her at Olivo Medical. She is easy to talk to and gives great guidance.
Dr Olivo is great. Very friendly. And I was seen right away ;)
I didn't appreciate getting talked down to by Dr. Olivo or getting tests done when I only came in for one problem. It made it seem as if they just wanted me to keep coming in. For one appointment, I needed certain information about a procedure I was about to get done from my hospital and called my doctor's office. Not only did I feel like a nuisance for requesting this information, but Dr. Olivo wasn't sure on how to get this information. On the phone, she was rude with me and after some time she grudgingly gave it to me when she did find it. I didn't feel as if this was a professional or thoughtful doctor to patient interaction at all. Even if you show up right at the time of your appointment, the office is hectic and should expect a long wait time. The staff is also talking among themselves of things people should not have to listen to. Not a professional team at all. I am changing to another primary care doctor right away!
Came in and was seated in the waiting room immediately. Checked in by a nurse not 5 minutes later. Talking with the doctor 10 minutes in and out within a half hour. Incredibly efficient, nice, and relaxed.
It was great, I was really nervous but she is the type of person that makes you feel welcome an comfortable.
Ella es una excelente persona
The student Dr. was pleasant and easy to talk to. He listened to everything I said and made a thorough assessment of my symptoms. Dr. Olivo was kind and caring as always. Overall it was a great visit.
Staff was very unprofessional. Lots of conversations amongst each other . I was able to know a lot more than I should about Her staff and their personal life.
I had terrible anxiety about the reason for my visit and she and her staff put me at ease!
It went well today. I have gone to her before. She usually has students with her. I'm up for the teaching and learning process, but I'm glad there were no students during my visit today since they usually come in the room first ask me questions and then the doctor comes in and ask me the same questions. I was in and out for my visit in a timely manner, but I felt as though I was being attended to and not being rushed by the actual doctor when she came in the room.
Great staff and very professional
She is very personable and professional. We enjoyed our visit and felt that our concerns were definitely addressed. Would certainly recommend her to others.
I couldn't tell if she was positive in her determination or in a rush, but the junior doctor that received me was helpful.
Dr. Olivo was professional and helpful. So was the medical student assisting her. He was also very thorough. Everyone in the office was friendly. I did not feel rushed even though I was one on of the very last patients of the day.
I specifically chose Dr.Olivo because she was a woman. When I get to the office, I was given a male student to work with, no one asked me if I was comfortable with this or not until it came down to getting undressed. Dr.Olivo was friendly but a little abrupt and seemed like she was in a hurry. I wasn't a fan of the office much at all. I don't have a PCP since I just changed insurance and she seemed to be pushing me choosing her. She asked me to come back for blood work even though my visit was conclusive and I did not understand why I would need blood work done. I was the last appt of the day and the receptionist had already turned off the computer but wrote down the date of this appt and said she would call me to confirm. Lucky for me she forgot and I just didn't go back. I wSnt a huge fan, but that being said, it wasn't bad either. Not the right fit for me though.
Made me schedule an unnecessary appt to obtain lab results that other doctors just give over the phone and tried to pressure me into getting a battery of tests because my insurance requires them in order to give me money back each year, according to her. Have never heard of this even though I have had my insurance for several years. The nurse who did the lab test actually took the index fingers off the gloves and then touched the sterilized area with her ungloved fingers. Why wear gloves in that case? The medical residents are from Atlantic medical. One seemed clueless and took a good 30 minutes for medical history and vitals. l would never go back.
Knows what she's doing. Helpful.
the nurses and the training students are more friendly and caring then the actual doctor. (Sigh) i've yet to find a good doctor around my area.
It went very well, she was extremely nice and took care of everything that needed taken care of!
They put me in a room immediately. Then I waited 2 hours for nothing
She was very friendly and professional. We were amazed at how quickly we were able to get in to see her. Her staff were also very friendly.
Great experience. I was taken care of right away. Very professional team.
I liked her she seemed nice and she made a diagnosis very quickly which is helpful because a lot of doctors just tell you to rest or even get unnecessary procedures done , she got me to move about until we could find the cause. I'm unsure the prescription she made was really necessary but all Drs over-prescribe it seems.
I really like this office. It's clean and simply decorated beautifully. The staff was all so nice to me. Dr. Olivo was wonderful. I came in with a ton of questions and she got me everything I needed. I feel really good about picking her.
Catered more toward Hispanic patients but still very efficient and thorough.
I liked Dr. Olivo but her office really needed to be cleaned.
Dr. Olivio was one of the most amazing Dr. I have ever come in contact with.
The office is a little hole in the wall, but I have seen worse. The Doctors are prominently Spanish speaking and this should be listed on the website. Although, reception spoke English the Doctors spoke only Spanish which was a bit awkward, but understandable. Wait times in Doctor offices are understandable, but this appointment wait time was a doozey. On this day they were training newbies, I do believe and this could be a reason why the wait time was longer than expected, but 45 minutes is a bit much. After finally seeing the doctor and this being my first visist we had to go through the paper work ask the questions and take blood work. Since, I had recently ate some chocolate I was unable to get my blood drawn on this day. So, I had to come back the next day and get my blood taken. Very simple process the following day and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Overall, I had a good experience. Will be going back soon for another appointment and we will see how this round goes. I will recommend Dr. Olivo...just make sure to have your Spanish ready (^~^)
The level of professionalism at this office is non-existent. The girl at the front was helpful and the doctors intern was also very easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable. However, when it came time to speak with Dr. Olivio, her bluntness and almost rude way of talking to me about a subject if which on hadn't even visited her about resulted in me leaving her office feeling pretty awful about myself having been told something pretty insulting rift out of left field. Not planning on going back. Another annoying about her office; if your insurance requires a co-pay, they make you pay it upfront before you leave the office instead of sending you a bill that you can pay in your own time. I was told they had experienced to many people just not paying the bill back or moving. No other office I have been to in Chicago has ever made me pay upfront like this before (and my insurance has never changed).
I was taken care of immediately they made sure that I understood everything they said and they treated me in a very timely matter I would go again.
Great doctor, very nice, very helpful, and great service!
This was my first doctor visit in Chicago (I am from PA). I was seen pretty quickly, with not too much paperwork. The doctor treated my illness, making sure I understood all instructions. She had me schedule a physical and flu shot while I was there since I was due for one. Also, I was able to pay my co-pay wih a credit card and recieve my receipt electronically. The hours she keeps are good although she switches between locations. She was friendly and approachable, but I wish she was more thorough. My issue was not serious- I think I just expected more questions but she was confident in her disgnosis.
The visit was decent but the nurse spoke no English so there was a big language barrier.
I am a new patient but the entire staff was friendly and polite. The exam was thorough and she even booked my next appt for me and sent the prescription from her office.
The office was locked when I first arrived, 10 minutes prior to appt. to fill out paperwork. Not a big deal, except it was pretty cold that day and the receptionist was apologetic when she arrived. The other staff was there within another 10 minutes. The nurse who took my initial measurements didn't speak very much English, but was very warm and we were able to communicate. It seems that most patients spoke Spanish as a first language, so that may not create a challenge most of the time. Dr. Olivo was very good, thorough, and no nonsense. One heads-up, there were a group of interns observing during my follow-up, which I didn't mind, but was a surprise.
It was interesting...maybe the strangest yet easiest appt I have ever had. There wasn't a strong professionalism or coordination among team members but they were in the midst of training two people. They sort of shoved you from one room to another and you had to answer the same questions 3 times over, for each person you saw. The exam (my yearly) was incredibly fast and painless and she easily prescribed refills for my scripts. The wait time was low, people just seemed a little scattered.
She is STELLAR! She ROCKS....I am never going back to my current Dr. YOUR FIRED! I WAS TREATED LIKE A ROCK-STAR..by Dr. Olivo and her assistant...the Dr. who took down all of my history and he let Dr. Olivo know about my concerns. They took such care and concern in gathering my medical history and being kind and informative to all of my questions (sorry I forgot his name). Also the receptionist was a sweetheart....bar none...ya think I'm HAPPY? Because I AM! Glad I got sick this morning....reason for everything! Thanks EVERYONE!
The visit was very thorough. The medical intern and Dr. Olivo discussed the details of my case before suggesting a treatment. They both educated me about my symptoms and the treatment. Very satisfied with the visit, hopefully will feel better. The waiting area made me feel a little claustrophobic.
The two young ladies at the front desk have no idea what they're doing. Also, although the doctor tries to be nice (note the "tries"), she needs to learn how to speak to her patients properly. Will definitely not be going back.
Dr Olivo and her staff were all very nice and greeted me well. It being my first time there they made me feel at ease.
I love it she was very friendly
She's ok. I went back twice for the same issue. Her diagnosis differed both times and it seemed like the issue persists.
Very good bedside manner. Was able to help me get my forms filled out correctly and tests need to start a new job. Her medical students were kind and not intrusive.
