“This was a great experience! The staff I saw prior to the doctor were nice and very clear and communicative. I didn't have to wait at all. And the doctor was above and beyond great! I actually had an incident where I fainted (which happens to me at doctor's offices sometimes), and Dr. Pucci was so kind and patient, letting me sit in the room for however long I needed and offering me mints / food / water. He also described what was going on with my eye really well and cleared up all fears I had. Definitely recommend!”

About Dr. Jake Pucci
Dr. Jake Pucci is originally from Westerly, RI, where he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Rhode Island in Biological Sciences. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. After graduation, Dr. Pucci was accepted to complete a residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Care at the Jamaica Plain Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Boston, MA. During his residency, he gained extensive experience managing complex ocular diseases, including diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and dry eye. Additionally, he is well trained in the fitting of contact lenses as well as the co-management of post-op cataract and LASIK patients. Dr. Pucci moved from the Northeast and has now been established in Atlanta for several years. Outside of work, he enjoys following the stock market, trying new wines and craft beers, and playing golf. Dr. Pucci is excited to have joined Atlanta Eye Group and looks forward to continuing to explore the Atlanta area!
