“Pack your patience. I came 20 minutes early and still wasn't seen until 20 minutes after my appointment time. Then, I sat in the treatment room for another half an hour before being seen. The actual time with staff was maybe 15 minutes, yet, the visit was over an hour and a half. The staff was polite and thanked me for my patience.”

About Dr. James Lee

Dr. James D. Lee, OD, MS, BS, graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Biomedical Science. He went on to receive his Doctorate degree from The University of Houston College of Optometry, where he completed his clinical training at rotations in the Heights Community Hospital and Hope Clinic. He is a licensed Therapeutic and Glaucoma specialist, working primarily in refraction for glasses/contact lenses & the treatment of ocular conditions (glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and pre/post management of ocular surgeries etc.) Dr. Lee is a foodie and enjoys visiting hole-in-the-wall and/or new restaurants during his free time. He also enjoys bowling, pickle ball & golf. Dr. Lee prides himself in providing the highest quality eye care to all patients regarding comprehensive eye exams, contact lenses and ocular diseases and more.
