About Dr. Janel Strah

Janel Strah, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry and her Bachelor's degree in Biology, with honors, from The Ohio State University. Dr. Strah is active in the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Ohio Optometric Association (OOA), where she currently serves as the OOA Zone 1 Governor. She is also an Ohio State affiliated faculty member and enjoys being a clinical instructor to fourth-year students. With a background in science, Dr. Strah knew her interests lay outside of a laboratory setting. She especially enjoys teaching patients about their eye health and visual system while overcoming any obstacles to meet their visual needs. Dr. Strah particularly enjoys working with patients of all ages and fitting specialty contact lenses, which she finds both challenging and rewarding. Overall, she loves improving the quality of people’s lives by providing them with better vision.
