About Dr. Jared Scheff

Jared Scheff, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in May 2016. He completed his undergraduate studies at Towson University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2011. Dr. Scheff's primary area of focus is Dry Eye Disease. He discovered his passion for eye care during a mission trip to Ghana, Africa in 2008, where he provided eye care to approximately 1,500 patients. This experience solidified his desire to pursue a career in optometry. One of the aspects Dr. Scheff appreciates the most about this field is the opportunity to meet numerous patients from diverse backgrounds. Each patient brings a unique set of circumstances, making his job consistently engaging and rewarding. Outside of work, Dr. Scheff enjoys engaging in various hobbies and interests. He is an enthusiastic golfer and a dedicated supporter of the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens. Dr. Scheff also enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter and pursuing his love for cooking.
