About Dr. Jared Walker

Dr. Jared Walker was born in Portland, Oregon and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho from the age of 2. He attended school in Twin Falls and graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1992. He attended Ricks College and graduated with his bachelor’s degree from Idaho State University. He graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry and received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2003. He is a member of the Idaho Optometric Physicians, and American Optometric Association. He is also involved with the Magic Valley Diabetes Coalition and the Eyesight Chairman for the Kimberly Lions Club. Dr. Walker and his wife Cara have four children. Dr. Walker specializes in family and pediatric vision care, management of ocular diseases, Laser surgery co-management and contact lenses.
