About Dr. Jason Reingold
Dr. Jason Reingold is a Harvard-trained, board-certified cardiovascular disease specialist with additional certifications from the American College of Cardiology, National Institutes of Health, National Board of Echocardiography, and National Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He graduated at the top of his class from the University of Georgia and earned his Doctor of Medicine from Emory University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Massachusetts General Hospital.
His clinical and research expertise focuses on the prevention and reversal of heart and vascular disease in both the young and the elderly across diverse, multi-ethnic populations. He also has a special interest in the overlap of cardiovascular disease with mental health, metabolic disorders, and kidney disease.
Dr. Reingold is a passionate advocate for promoting patient access to care through his roles as an adjunct assistant professor at Augusta University/Medical College of Georgia and as leader of the regulatory affairs committee for the Georgia Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. He continues to offer patients access to innovative diagnostic and treatment options available only through clinical research trials. He has served as an investigator for trials through Saint Joseph's Translational Research Institute, Saint Joseph's Heart and Vascular Institute, and Atlanta Clinical Research Centers. Additionally, Dr. Reingold researches the benefits of complementary and alternative therapies with a strong focus on lifestyle medicine.
Jason is married to Jennifer Alper Reingold, a pediatric speech pathologist. They live in Dunwoody with their two daughters, Kaylie and Zoey, and their rescue dog, Teddy. On weekends, you'll find his family exploring the great outdoors of Georgia.
