With more than 20 years of experience, his primary expertise is in cataract and refractive surgery, corneal care, oculoplastics, and ophthalmic conditions like dry eye disease. Dr. Schmit is also an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at the Kentucky College of Optometry, the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry, and Illinois College of Optometry. Personal & Hobbies Jason and wife, Lori, enjoy raising their two sons in Sioux Falls. During his time off, Jason participates in a variety of outdoor activities, such as a round of golf, a tennis match, a day at the pool, or traveling with family and friends.
