About Dr. Jeff Butts

Undergraduate Education: John Brown University; Bachelor of Science (B.S.). Optometry School: Southern College of Optometry. Professional Achievements and Associations: American Optometric Association. The reason I became an optometrist is: The epiphany I had after receiving my first pair of glasses and seeing truly clear for the first time was life changing. I became an optometrist because I value the joy in making that feeling possible for others. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Seeing clear and comfortable is such an important part of appreciating and making the most out of life. It is a pleasure knowing that I am helping patients see their best and live their best lives. In my spare time, I enjoy: Spending time with family, hiking, biking and golf.

I loved this experience. I was a little late because I'm new to the area but they were very accommodating! The ladies at the desk were so kind, the DR explained things very well and was personable, and the woman who helped me at the end was sweet and patient with me. 10/10

Dr Butts took time with me to explain what could be causing the issue with my sudden vision change. Took the time to show me where and how different medical problems could/can affect my vision. He listened to my concerns and answered all my questions thoroughly. He was very friendly and easy to communicate with. I felt heard and understood with everything I asked him and all my concerns.
