Jeffrey Koets, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from Ferris State University in 1992 and earned his Bachelor of Science from Alma College in 1987. A native of DeWitt, Michigan, Dr. Koets graduated from DeWitt High School in 1983 and has been practicing in the Lansing area for many years. In addition to his work at DeWitt Optometry, Dr. Koets serves as a part-time clinical facilitator for the Michigan College of Optometry. He mentors optometry students at the Jackson Prison Hospital Eye Clinic, DeWitt Optometry, and CareFree Optometry. A passionate baseball and MSU fan, Dr. Koets enjoys supporting his favorite teams. He lives in DeWitt with his wife, April, and their two children, Kyler and Carlie.
