About Dr. Jeffrey Penn
Dr. Jeffrey Penn received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1981, following his undergraduate studies at the University of Houston. A native of Houston, Dr. Penn has been in practice since 1981 and is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist. He is also an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association. His special fields of interest include contact lens fittings and the treatment of external eye diseases.
Dr. Penn says his favorite part of the job is building upon the close relationships he has developed with his patients and their families, some of whom have been coming to him for more than 30 years. He has enjoyed seeing his patients' children grow into young adults and, in some cases, is now seeing their children. Knowing how important clear vision is in our everyday lives, Dr. Penn appreciates the opportunities he has had to help improve the lives of many school-age children, college students, and adults during his career.
Outside of the office, Dr. Penn, who is also known as a ?foodie,? enjoys spending time with his family and friends and vacationing in the mountains of Colorado.
