“Dr. Rubenstein was absolutely wonderful + kind from the moment he walked in the door. I would recommend him to anyone. He truly takes an individualized approach to medicine + does not say "if X then Y for everyone". Rather, he takes the time to understand your unique biology, family history, health, overall goals, etc. rather than rushing to write a prescription or order tons of expensive testing without making sure your insurance covers it first. I can tell he takes patient health seriously; however, he is measured + thoughtful in his approach, laying out all of the options + offering his thoughts on what he thinks is best, but ultimately letting you decide as the patient. Truthfully, not just a great cardiology visit, but one of the most pleasant doctor's appointments I've had in a very long time. Go see him if you want a doctor who will take the time to listen to all of your questions, concerns, and thoughts. So grateful that I did + that he is now my cardiologist!”

About Dr. Jeffrey Rubinstein

Dr. Rubinstein received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina Medical School at Chapel Hill. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Boston City Hospital. Dr. Rubinstein also completed a critical care fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and then a cardiology fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Rubinstein is board certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology. Dr. Rubinstein developed a research interest in reperfusion injury, however went into private practice when he joined SCL Health in 1990. He has a specific interest in new technical advances of interventional cardiology, as well as issues faced by elderly individuals regarding cardiac disease and care. Dr. Rubinstein spends most of his free time with three children, and staying physically active by enjoying skiing and mountain biking.
