“Wow, this might have been the best doctor’s appointment I’ve ever had. Dr. Kannan and the office staff were with me for a full two hours. I came in for a consult regarding an allergy to a medication I was on that my doctors are considering putting me back on. Dr. Kannan talked with me for a good 40 minutes about my medical history, my previous allergic reaction, my concerns, etc. They even caught that my childhood asthma had come back and that I needed to be taking medication again for it.
Dr. Kannan ordered a scratch test and after the nurses performed it, Dr Kannan came back in to explain my results so thoroughly. In the time the nurses had done the scratch test, Dr. Kannan had also done some more research on the medication I was considering taking, and talked me through several different options. She was so warm, friendly, and empathetic, and I appreciated all the time her and her staff took to make sure I understood what they were doing and how to move forward with my meds.”

About Dr. Jennifer Kannan
Jennifer Kannan, MD, was previously an assistant professor of medicine at the GW School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Dr. Kannan earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University (formerly Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine) in 2011. She completed her residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in 2014 and successfully finished a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center/Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center in June 2016.
Dr. Kannan’s scholarly activities have produced five publications, as well as a number of abstracts and presentations. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Allergy & Immunology.

I had a great experience with Dr. Kannan. She listened carefully to my long story related to allergic reaction to antibiotics. She took her time, explained the allergy testing in detail and answered all of my questions.
Unrelated to my experience with Dr. Kannan, I filled out all the detailed medical history forms on ZocDoc app. The office could not access the information. This happened with a different doctor’s office as well.

It was easy to connect with office and set up a new patient visit before my appointment. When I got to my appointment, the staff was friendly and my wait time was very short. Dr. Kannan was terrific. She listened to my symptoms, explained three common scenarios for what I was experiencing, and gave a thorough examination including multiple breathing tests. I will be following up with her in a month. Was very pleased with my visit. Staff was good. I made my appointment easily through ZocDoc and then the office emailed me prior to my visit to confirm it.

I was a previous patient of Dc Kannan and did not realize she had move to a different state when making my booking. She and her office were however kind enough to reach out to her previous practice to schedule an appointment there for me.
