About Dr. Jennifer Vuong
Dr. Jennifer Vuong is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist certified by the Texas Optometry Board in the treatment and management of ocular diseases. She practices full-scope primary optometry and is available for pediatric eye exams, comprehensive eye exams, diabetic eye exams, LASIK consultations, cataract consultations, glaucoma evaluations, eye emergencies, and general optometric exams. Her professional interests include treatment of dry eyes, myopia control, and frame styling her patients to look their best.
Born and raised in Houston, Dr. Vuong graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She went on to receive her Doctorate from the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating with magna cum laude honors.
Dr. Vuong received clinical training at the Dry Eye Center at the University Eye Institute where she routinely treated longstanding severe dry eye patients. She completed an internship at Lakeline Vision Source which is a large multi-doctor private practice where she practiced primary care optometry. Dr. Vuong also completed an internship at Cedar Springs Eye Clinic where she routinely diagnosed ocular conditions including glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, dry eye disease, and diabetic retinopathy.
In Dr. Vuong’s personal life, she enjoys cooking new recipes, organizing, spending time with her fur-babies, and being a member of bachelor nation!

My overall experience was amazing. Dr. Vuong was very attentive to all of my questions and concerns. She answered all of my questions with detail and I loved how she didn't rush my exam. I didn't have to wait long at all to be seen and the office was beautiful. I highly recommend her to any of my friends or family. :)

My doctor, Dr. Vuong was the most professional and smart doctor I have ever had. I've had an issue with dry eyes for so long and Dr. Vuong was able to relieve me of this annoyance. I'm forever in her debt for such an amazing experience.

THE OWNER WAS VERY PATIENT AND THUROUGH WITH MY EXAM. SHE FOCUSED ON MY NEEDS AND WAS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE WITH HER FIELD OF EXPERTISE. SHE MADE ME FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE AND HELPED ME UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF PREVENTATIVE CARE DESPITE THE FACT THAT I SEE 20/20 AFTER MY LASIK PROCEDURE. I WILL CONTINUE TO SEE HER ANNUALLY.

Smooth and seamless. Dr. Vuong is incrdibly knowledgable and will even rscarch problems right away. She also has a very warm and soothing smile. I cant imagine seeing someone else.

Found the PERFECT glasses for my large head size. The doctor had great bedside manner and explained everything I needed to know since my prescription is high in astigmatism. I've never had such a high-tech exam before. BEST OPTOMETRIST IN HOUSTON HEIGHTS!

AMAZING experience! The up to date technology blew me away. I had no idea a simple eye exam could get so digitally advanced. Frame selection was spot on and the friendly staff was able to pick out perfect frames for me!

Dr. Vuong was one of the most sweetest and personable doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her bedside manner was far better than I ever expected. She gave you honest feedback that allowed you to really understand your health. Wait for it. Do you guys hate getting dilated?? Worry no more, he has a tech savvy machine that’s called the Optomap that will save you that hassle. Not having to get dilated and still getting my full exam means that I’m definitely coming back!
