About Dr. Jeremy Anderson

Dr. Anderson completed his undergraduate degree at Pittsburg State University, where he graduated with honors. He then went on to complete his doctorate of Optometry Degree from Southern College of Optometry, where he was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa optometric honors society. Following graduation, Dr. Anderson completed a residency in ocular disease at the Kansas City VA Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He received extensive training in the area of glaucoma, diabetic eye care, cataracts, and low vision rehabilitation. Dr. Anderson also spent two years teaching at his alma mater, SCO. During this time he gave multiple presentations, both locally and nationally, including at the American Academy of Optometry annual meeting. He is also a member of the Tennessee Academy of Optometry, the American Optometric Association, and the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians. In 2012, Dr. Anderson completed the requirements for a fellowship at the American Academy of Optometry. The designation of FAAO is achieved by only 10% of practicing optometrists.
