About Dr. Jessica Hernandez
Jessica Hernandez, O.D., earned her Doctor of Optometry from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) in 2022. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Studio Art in 2017 at Assumption University. Dr. Hernandez has always been fascinated by vision and the visual pathway. Her interest in the arts sparked curiosity about how we see and perceive the world around us, inspiring her to help people preserve their sight. Specializing in ocular disease, Dr. Hernandez feels that being an O.D. allows her to improve the quality of life for others. She enjoys spending extra time with her patients to get to know them personally. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Hernandez loves trying new foods.

Dr. Hernandez is a 10/10! Best Eye Doctor ever!
The sales representative could have done a better job at communicating. When I thought the glasses were too much, she explained it was not the "glasses", but the "frames" and "lenses". Sneaky sales tactics are never appreciated, although I should have done a better job communicating myself, confusion occurred.

Dr. Hernandez has excellent communication skills and the latest equipment technology. She is very knowledgeable and explained my testing and results. The exam area is quiet and comfortable. All the staff was friendly, the office was very clean with a calming vibe. I was very pleased with my experience.

I was super anxious because it had been about 7 years since my last eye appointment, but Dr. Hernandez was super understanding and nonjudgmental and explained things to me very clearly. I felt welcomed and safe. I will definitely continue to see her for my regular eye exams!
