A Houston area native, Dr. Rhinehart-Ventura graduated as valedictorian from Deer Park High School. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, then returned to Houston to receive her Doctor of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine. While in medical school, Dr. Rhinehart-Ventura found her calling in the care of women and went on to complete her specialty training in the Baylor College of Medicine Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program.
During her residency, Dr. Rhinehart-Ventura completed a research project on induction of labor and presented her findings orally at the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine Annual Meeting in 2014, held in New Orleans, LA. Her manuscript was published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology that same year.
Dr. Rhinehart-Ventura is a junior fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is devoted to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to the women of Houston, with particular interests in high-risk obstetrics, vaginal birth after cesarean section, and minimally invasive gynecological surgery.
