After receiving her Bachelor of Medicine from Fudan University Shanghai Medical College in Shanghai, China, Dr. Liu completed her Master of Science from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She went on to gain research experience as a research assistant at NYU Medical Center and a research scientist at Angion Biotech. Dr. Liu completed her residency in Oncology, the Department of Chemotherapy at Shanghai Cancer Hospital in Shanghai, China. She also completed her Residency in Internal Medicine at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey.

I understand every office and doctor are different but I was disappointed by my "Annual Physical" at this office and with this doctor. I made a point to call and ask beforehand if I needed to fast for my annual physical. I did fast, and then when I came in for my annual physical, they took my weight and my blood pressure and then that was it. The doctor came in and went over my weight and BP, and then told me I could get some blood work on my way out - and that was it. I was confused, and mentioned multiple times I'm here for my annual physical. To that, I was asked "Okay, what else do you want to do?". I said "I don't know, hearing? Eye test?" which I was told they only do for kids. I thought that was odd. After asking, I was given the eye test. Ultimately, I thought this visit was a waste of time since I could check my weight and blood pressure at home. My previous doctor's offices checked heart, stomach, hearing, eyes for an annual physical so that was my expectation. Very confusing

I recently visited Dr. Liu's office, had an extremely unpleasant experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel unwelcome. It seemed like none of them wanted to be there, which left me feeling like my presence was an inconvenience.
Dr. Liu was equally unwelcoming. She did not give me the time to express my concerns and, while I was still in the middle of asking questions, she abruptly opened the door and told me to go to a different room for blood work. I was left feeling confused by her lack of patience and disregard for my need to be heard.
The person who took my blood sample was no better. She was rude, providing instructions in a harsh tone, and even began eating ice cream while I was still in the room. This behavior was unprofessional and showed a complete lack of focus or care for the patient.
Overall, the lack of professionalism, courtesy, and empathy was deeply disappointing. I will not be returning to Dr. Liu or her office and do not recommend it to others.

Felt comfortable and heard by Dr. Liu, which was a welcomed breath of fresh air. Dr. Liu is knowledgeable, direct, and helpful... same with the Solara office staff. I think I've found a new PCP.

Dr. Liu is amazing! One general checkup and basic blood work, and she recommended me to a specialist who helped me find a diagnosis for things I'd struggled with my entire life. She also listened to everything I had to say and didn't make me feel rushed or like anything was unimportant. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
