About Dr. Jillian Iris Okeefe

Dr. Jillian Iris Okeefe (Owner) Dr. Okeefe decided on a career in optometry early in life — she says based on her middle name — and after completing her B.S. in Chemistry at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, she earned her Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. She started at C Eyewear in 2006 as an associate and quickly fell head-over-heels for the practice, eventually taking over ownership in 2011. In addition to her management work, Dr. Okeefe loves to make her patients feel laid back and at ease, whether they’re in the exam room or the optical boutique. She works hard every day to ensure all her patients’ needs are met — and of course, their wants, too! When she’s not taking care of her patients, Dr. Okeefe loves to spend her time with friends, family, and her two dogs, which she calls her “huge cuddle monsters.” If she hadn’t made optometry her calling, she says she might’ve been a yoga instructor for dogs!
