Raised in Fair Oaks, Dr. Han attended Del Campo High School before continuing his studies at California State University, Sacramento, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with a Biochemistry concentration. It was during his time as an undergrad that Dr. Han discovered his true calling in optometry, inspired by his desire to help others and his fascination with science. Dr. Han went on to earn his Doctorate in Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) in Chicago. His clinical training included experience at private eye clinics in Atlanta, Anchorage, and the VA hospital in West Virginia, providing him with a well-rounded education in all aspects of optometry. Since graduating, Dr. Han returned to his hometown and founded Healthy Eyes Optometry in 2006, where he continues to serve the community. When he's not improving patients' vision, Dr. Han enjoys spending his spare time outdoors with his two boys, whether it's camping, ocean kayaking, or offshore fishing. He’s also an avid gold panner (ask him about his secret gold panning spots!). Dr. Han practices at multiple locations, including Folsom, EDH, Merced, and occasionally Placerville, bringing his expertise and passion for eye care to each patient he serves.
