Dr. Bertelson earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas, Houston, completed his Residency in Neurology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, and pursued fellowships in Behavioral Neurology at Harvard University's McLean Hospital and in Neuroimaging at DENT Neurologic Institute. At the Bertelson Clinic, you have access to years of neurological experience and personalized care without the constraints of traditional, insurance-based practices. Our Brain Health Assessment includes: - Detailed neurological history and exam - Neurocognitive evaluation - MRI of the brain - Neurovascular imaging - Personalized laboratory studies - Additional diagnostics, if indicated - Comprehensive feedback including dementia risk assessment Please note: Our Westlake office is a private-pay practice. We are out of network with commercial health insurance plans. Our assessments include services which are not covered by government insurance plans (i.e., Medicare).
