About Dr. John Corvese

Dr. Corvese is a lifelong Rhode Island resident who grew up in Providence and attended Classical High School. Dr. Corvese graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. He furthered his educational pursuits in cancer research at the Boston University School of Medicine where he received his PhD in Immunology. In 1982, he attained his Doctor of Optometry Degree when he graduated from New England College of Optometry. He is the founder and owner of Envisions Eyecare Center which he has guided to include six locations servicing the State of Rhode Island. Besides his private practice, Dr. Corvese continues to make time by providing services for Eastbay Community Health Center for the past 33 years. He currently resides in Cranston. He enjoys landscaping, architectural design, and following local college basketball. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Rhode Island Optometric Association. With his success and experience of 35 years, Dr. Corvese invites you to seek professional eyecare at one of his five locations.
