About Dr. John Davidson

Dr. John “Jack” Davidson III is a San Diego native, born and raised in La Jolla. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology with a minor in Psychology from San Diego State University before completing his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland. Dr. Davidson went on to complete a comprehensive three-year surgical and clinical residency through Scripps Mercy Hospital, with an added credential in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. His training included two years in San Diego at Scripps Mercy and surrounding hospitals, followed by a third year at Kaiser facilities in Ontario and Fontana, where he focused on surgical trauma cases. His diverse experience includes general podiatric medicine and surgery, biomechanics, diabetic limb preservation, wound care, and sports medicine. Dr. Davidson is double board-certified by both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. As an Upperline Health podiatrist, he is dedicated to improving lower extremity outcomes and delivering compassionate, high-quality care to every patient he treats. He is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, California Podiatric Medical Association, and the San Diego County Podiatric Medical Society. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Davidson enjoys surfing, hiking, painting, drawing, and playing both the piano and guitar. He enjoys time spent exploring the beautiful local beaches with his wife and two daughters.
