About Dr. John Facchin
Dr. Facchin graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1986.
Dr. Facchin graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia With a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Visual Sciences in 1988 and a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1991.
Dr. Facchin is TPA certified and maintains current certification in the treatment and management of ocular disease and infection. He has extensive experience assessing the visual skills of children, with a special interest in orthoptic therapy, contact lenses and visual rehabilitation. Dr. Facchin is also highly skilled in the comprehensive ocular examination of geriatric patients, and services a number of nursing homes in Long Island, Queens and Brooklyn, as well as partnerships in three full-scope optometric practices in Long Island.
Dr. Facchin is a member of the American Optometric Association, the New York State Optometric Association and the Nassau County Optometric Society. He is also a member of Omega Epsilon Phi, and had held the position of secretary for the National Organization since 1992.
Dr Facchin enjoys In-line skating, sports, going to car shows, swap meets and restoring Corvettes.
